Powered by our Submapping® technology, Waterview® can help anyone explore deep below the surface to see the previously unseen. It might be navigating the seabed in 360 degrees or being immersed in an underwater virtual reality like a deep sea diver or a marine biologist.

Making exploration possible
We’ve built submarines that can autonomously study, search and navigate our oceans and waterways with unprecedented mapping precision. UAM Tec® submarines’ state of the art mapping technology makes Submapping® , and applications like Waterview® , possible. Using proprietary artificial intelligence (AI), an array of sensors and 22 onboard cameras, swarms of submarines navigate and communicate autonomously taking photos at every angle.



360 degrees like you've never seen before
With our pioneering Submapping® system, the submarines use proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) to receive instructions and work autonomously. Each sub receives instructions then dives, navigates and completes tasks as a unit of its swarm. Upon return to charging stations they transfer data through our satellite network and encrypted messaging. That data is then collated and stitched together using AI to create 3D interactive maps and footage. This makes the 360 degrees of interactivity in Waterview® possible.
